Offered here is an original piece of tire tread from Elvis Presley's Harley Davidson motorcycle! This Harley was purchased by the King on August 11, 1976, from Harley Davidson West in Marina del Rey, California. The bike was later given by Elvis to his cousin Billy Smith who in turn sold it (after Elvis' death) to Jimmy Velvet for his Elvis Presley Museum. Before putting the bike on display, Jimmy removed this original tire and replaced it. The original tire was sold to me and the tread piece offered here is from that tire! These tread displays have become famous (and are selling fast) after they were discussed in my interview with Jay Leno for his TV show "Jay Leno's Garage" - the episode titled "Music & Cars" originally aired on 11/23/16. I am the only legitimate source of these Elvis tread displays - fakes will undoubtedly surface in the coming days, buy from me to ensure that you are getting the real thing where the King's "rubber hit the road!" Your authentic tread piece (1 1/2" x 1/2") comes mounted on a great looking display (8 1/2" x 11"). Also included is a copy of the original Certificate of Authenticity from Jimmy Velvet...perfect for the Elvis/Harley collector!Shipping is $5.00 in the US and $13.00 international and will be sent within three business days of cleared payment
