Offering a rare and very clean Elsmore & Forster covered butter dish, complete with strainer in the Laurel Wreath Pattern. Dated April 4th, 1867. It is a pleasingly weighty piece and one of the nicest crispest molds I've seen, the detail is fabulous. It appears to be flawless, no chips, cracks, damage or repairs, very clean! Normal crazing of the surface of the glaze, no stains. See photos for the best evidence of its condition. This measures 5.5" tall and about 6.25" across the rim. I have shown this in the last photo with an 8.5" Plate under it, but it is not included in this listing. It is available in another listing if you are interested. I also have a gorgeous Laurel Wreath Sugar Bowl listed, please have a look at that if you collect this pattern. This will ship by your choice of FedEx or USPS Priority mail, please choose at check out. It will be very well packed and double boxed.
