I have for your consideration now, a great antique Berger brass lamp with a milk glass hobnail font. A very heavy, working table lamp that looks like it belongs in Tuscany. This lamp's metalwork is just gorgeous, grapes on the vines, leaves, more bunches of grapes and just so much detail, hopefully my photos show how nice this lamp truly is.Standing at a grand 32 " tall with the shade's harp in place, the harp easily removes with a squeeze and pushing the tabs up. At the top of the harp, photo #12 is where the information is on this lamp. It reads : -BERGER- Swivel Harp Pat. # 2270497. On the Bakelite , non polarized plug it reads: UL in a circle and SA inside a C. The glorious base is 7" across, it has grape clusters on leaves, draping to swirled feet. Above the base is a vase shaped area, photos # 7, 8 and 9. Above this area is a large milk glass font done in hobnails. Above the font is another decorated area with a faux key, photos 1,2, 4 and 5. Above this is the bulb housing and the push ON/OFF switch. Finial is just a finial, nothing too exceptional, but that is an easy fix.Pre packaged weight is 5 pounds 8 ounces. No issues that I can see, the non polarized plug, works with pliable wiring no exposed wire. Should re wire at some time for safety sake.If you have any questions or need a shipping quote, please feel free to email read more
