American Waltham pocket watch marked Appleton Tracy. According to the serial number 6537218, this pocket watch was made in 1883. The pocket watch is an 18 size, 15 jewel open face pocket watch. The movement is marked Appleton Tracy Co Waltham Mass along with the serial number. When wound, the balance wheel moves, the pocket watch ticks and the hands move. However, as with all of our time pieces, we do not guarantee nor warranty working condition of the pocket watch. You are buying this in strictly as is estate found condition. The case is marked Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Silverode and the serial number is 701505. Originally the base had a train bright cut on the back but has been extensively worn - you can barely see the image. The white dial face is in very good condition with no cracks.
