Offered, Here, is a Original, Antique, Mid-1800's-Era, Pressed Flint-Glass Double-Bowled Desk or Table-Ware Object, which Performed the Function of Either a "Stamp-Moistener" or an "Open-Table-Salt" Container. Measuring about 5" Long, The Thick, Shiny, Crystal-Like "Flint-Glass" was Probably the Product of the Boston + Sandwich Glass Company of Sandwich Massachusetts on Cape Cod, Circa 1840-60's. The Item was Recently Acquired at a Very Early Estate on the Cape, ( actually in the Town of Sandwich!!) + was one of the Antique Store Inventory Items of an Old Time Massachusetts Antique Dealer who was well known for Having Great Antique Sandwich Glass Items for over 40 Years. CONDITION: The Item is in Very Good / Exceptional, Original, Antique, New England "Estate-Found" Condition w/ NO REAL FORMS OF "DAMAGE". NO CHIPS, NO CRACKS, NO STAINING, NO DINGS. There is Some Light Roughness on One Side-Corner and Some Slight Visible Wear, Occurring on the Base. Very Clean + Nice Example~!!
