Albion Antiek WorcesterCovered Basket Early English Porcelain Dr. Wall 1770's This listing is for a beautiful early English blue & white porcelain lidded basket (chestnut basket or potpourri). Made ca. 1770's by Worcester in England. It is decorated in blue & white with the Pinecone pattern. This piece measures 8-3/4" long (handle to handle), 7" wide and 6-1/4" high (to top of finial). One of the handles has been glued back and there are a few chips to the applied flowers, also two very small discolored lines in the glaze on the inside of the basket (see close-up pictures). But really none of these flaws detract from the appearance of this stunning piece of early English blue & white porcelain and there is no other damage and no other repair/restoration. Please excuse any glares (white patches) that you may see in the pictures, these are caused by reflections of light on the glaze and are not on the actual object itself.
