Very nice early decorated stoneware pitcher. Pitcher is 1 gallon. Salt glazed. Great warm brown color clay with nice cobalt blue design. Has no cracks or hairlines. There are 3 small chips on one side of the rim and 1 chip on the spout. They are pictured and are the only excuses for this nice piece of Americans. The paper on the bottom had the provenance that I lost sometime when moving it around. Have looked... can't find it. Measures 10 1/2" tall and the bottom is 6 1/2" in diameter. The body has a bulbous shape. Please check my other listings. This auction is for the stoneware pitcher only.
