This 24 page book is full of information and pictures of the different Hercules Bodies. The first two pages give the history of the company, the guarantee, information on shipping and crating and the general description of the Hercules Bodies. Tells how the roofs are full slatted and covered with black oiled duck, the sides and door panels are made from 20 gauge anti-rust automobile body steel and felt pad is placed between the steel panels and posts to prevent rattling. The doors are fitted with 9x13 oval double strength glass except for the no. 25 in which they used French beveled glass. They are painted with a rich shade of Brewster green with black moldings.This book measures 9 1/4" x 6". Unfortunately there is not a date in this book to tell of the year it was printed, however, with research we believe it to be from the early 1900's. It is in overall very nice condition. Some pages do have corner crease marks. Four pages were folded and there is a very small tear which can be seen in the up close picture. THE FOLLOWING FOUR PARAGRAPHS WERE FOUND ON THE INTERNET:Starting in the mid-teens Hercules Body Co. published an annual catalog advertising their "Business Bodies for Fords". By the early twenties the catalog's 80 pages included detailed pictures and specifications of the multitude of cabs and truck bodies built by the firm. read more
