Offered for sale is a lovely antique glass open sugar bowl (often misidentified as a milk glass or buttermilk goblet), made by Central Glass Co. The pattern is called OAK WREATH, and dates to the 1880s. It has an intense apple-green glow under UV light.It stands 4 3/4 inches (12.1cm) tall, and measures 4 inches (12.1cm) in diameter at the rim. A U.S. quarter is shown in the first two pictures, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are some minor scratches on the base, from age and use.All of my items are from a SMOKE FREE home.
