Offered for sale is a beautiful antique glass SERVING BOWL. It was made by McKee & Bros. The pattern is called MAJESTIC, aka PILGRIM, aka Cube with Double Fan, aka Divided Block and Sunburst. The pattern was introduced in 1893, and features a pressed pattern of square blocks/diamonds and large fans. The glass gives off a bright apple-green glow under UV light.The bowl is a bit on the small side for a serving bowl, but far too large for a berry bowl or even a soup/cereal bowl. It measures 6 1/4 inches (15.9cm) in diameter, and stands 2 1/4 inches (5.7cm) tall at the rim. A U.S. quarter is shown in pictures 2 and 3, to give an accurate impression of the size at a glance.It is in good used condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs, and no lime scale or cloudiness in the glass. There is slight roughness/tiny chips at the seams along the scalloped rim.All my items are from a SMOKE FREE home.
