To operate this lighter, the cap arm must be raised which releases the gas from the valve then the flint is struck by turning the wheel. This lighter uses a double wheel mechanism which allows the flame to remain lit until extinguished by covering the cap arm over the valve.Dunhill introduced the modern " Unique " lighter. A reproduction of the first "Unique" lighter that was introduced by Dunhill over 60 years ago.
