Over the top!! Two elaborate and beautiful DRESDEN, GERMANY, CARL THIEME backmarked plates. Pierced or Reticulated Saxonian Gilded Porcelain luncheon Plates. Handpainted. Holding them in your hand is a joy. The quality of the workmanship is amazing. Four panels are pierced and decorated and four solid panels have a short chain of handpainted flowers in gilded frames. Fine Gilding on rims, verge design and panel outline designs.Manufacturer : Carl Thieme. (Courtesy of marks4antiques). Pattern : Unknown. DRE21 at Replacements. Size : 7 1/2" diam. Age : Unknown.
