Donath & Co Dresden Hand Painted Floral Reticulated Cabinet Plate C. 1893 - 1916Beautiful reticulated & scalloped edge porcelain cabinet plate. Nicely decorated with hand painted central flowers in purple, yellow, orange, blue, and pink. Surrounded by double gold bands, a deep forest green band with gold gilt beaded flowers and leaf overlay. The border of the plate is reticulated with sections of hand painted pink roses, purple, blue, orange, and yellow flowers. With gold gilt floral designs in between the flowers and gold highlighed reticulation. With gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse in green with a crown over Dresden Germany. This particular crown Dresden mark was used by Donath & Company in Dresden Germany between 1893 and 1916.Has some wear to the gilding and a few small spots of wear to the forest green, but otherwise excellent condition with no chips or cracks.Measures 7 3/8" wide.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display-ability of the piece.Please see my other listings for more Donath & Co and other Dresden and Dresden style porcelain.
