This quilt was made by cutting heart shapes from fabric of pink with white dots and white with pink dots. These were appliqued onto contrasting white and hot pink squares. The squares were sewn together in an alternating pattern and the framed with the white with pink dot fabric. This was then bordered with the pink with white dot fabric. The back of the quilt is the pink with white dot fabric. The quilt is bound with hot pink. I used extra loft batting and quilted through all layers. There is a coordinating pillow. The pillow is hot pink with a white and pink dot heart appliqued in the center. It has a flange made of pink with white dots. The quilt measures approximately 18 inches square.
