Illustrated by renown fashion illustrator Jim Howard, the book features Mel Odom's fictional GENE MARSHALL movie star high-fashion doll and her glamorous friends in paper doll form. There are paper dolls of Gene and her nemesis Madra, their African-American colleague Violet, Gene's leading man Trent, and yet another actress Ivy. Each paper doll costume is an authentic fashion from the Gene Marshall collection, some worn by dressed dolls and others sold separately.
