It’s crafted from hand-detailed ceramic stoneware — in classic green.Dodie Thayer, The Pottery Queen of Palm Beach, originally started molding her Lettuce Ware pieces by hand on real pieces of lettuce and cabbage and sold them at Au Bon Gout in Palm Beach. Her pottery, which started as a hobby, was a hit with the likes of Frank and Barbara Sinatra, Jacqueline Kennedy, C.Z. Guest and Palm Beach elites.
