These Animator Disney dolls are like canvasses to me. Such beautiful simplistic facial features lend themselves to all sorts of characters to my eyes.Here we have Ariel, but I see her in this moment as Raggedy Ann.I hard curled the hair around her face and soft curled the rest of her hair.I painted her face similar to Raggedy Ann's including the "I love you" heart on her chest.She is wearing an original Raggedy Ann dress, apron and panties that I took off an official Raggedy Ann doll. I had the stripped tights specially made. The shoes are too big but I thought they looked appropriate and cute.This doll is a OOAK and custom made so there will be smudges, flaws and imperfections, none of which distracts from her character and beauty.I will try to remember to sign her back. I sculpted and designed dolls for Ashton Drake Galleries for 30 years as Kathy Barry Hippensteel.
