This is an interesting Theropod dinosaur vertebra from the Hell Creek deposits of southeastern Montana. It is a caudal (tail) vertebra from the large raptor, Struthiomimus altus. It is from very near the end of the tail. It has a good display side, but the opposite side is essentially weathered away & missing. The vertebra measures 3" (75mm) in length. It is from upper Cretaceous age deposits, in the Hell Creek Formation, in Garfield County, Montana. This vert has been in my collection for many years!!! This is a "buy it now" offering.
