This is a fantastic hadrosaur egg weighing 6lbs 14oz, It is 6." long, 5.25 inches wide, 5" tall. As seen in the photos the egg is a rare smoke black color , it is by far museum quality , see photos. As seen in the photos it has 97-99% of the shell intact, a rarity. Unlike other you may see this one has a fantastic round shape, very inflated. My father bought this from a museum that was closing in the mid 90's. These are the real deal, and have been verified as so by, my wife and I are both geologist and I worked as a paleo monitor on numerous construction sites. It is from kyrgyzstan, but can also be found in the Kaoguo Formations in the Xixia Basin, Henan Province, China. Almost all of the shell is intact, see photos, I would say 97-99%. It has no reconstruction or patching , see photos. The white seen in the photo's is a very thin layer of calcium carbonate on top of the shell.
