This 577 page dictionary is not being reprinted or sold by the Church of Scientology and will become more and more rare. In the academies, a pilot dictionary was being used and was eventually supposed to be published as the "new official dictionary" but I don't think it ever was. Instead, glossaries for the basics books and lectures were expanded. Besides the dictionary proper, this book contains abbreviations for the names of books and lectures and a complete listing of all the books, booklets, bulletins, policy letters, taped lectures, miscellaneous references, journals and magazines that were used as sources for the definitions. Many definitions are illustrated with photos or drawings. It also contains a short biography of Hubbard that acknowledges the existence of his wife Mary Sue and his children Diana, Quentin, Suzette, and Arthur. There is also a list of churches, advanced organizations, and missions with their addresses as of 1975. The pages are slightly yellowed, and the name of the previous owner is written on the frontispiece. The corners of the cover are worn as seen in the photo. However, this copy is in good condition, bindings tight, no underlining or writing in book. Bound in deep red leatherette.
