Pots, Art and other great collectibles Historical information : Up for sale, this outstanding vintage handbuilt bowls with legs created by the Bowlers of the Snake River Pottery of Bliss, Idaho. Per the Vasefinder Museum: Aldrich (1915-2007) and Di Bowler(1920-1986) of Idaho started the Snake River Pottery in the mid-1940's. They produced low fired forms with the use of drip and rutile glazes and local clays. Lamar Harrington's Ceramics of the Northwest makes mention of this important Northwest pottery. . Aldrich Bowler exhibited at the First Northwest Annual Ceramic Exhibition of 1950, as well as he exhibited at the Contemporary Crafts Museum and Gallery (CCMG) of Portland, Oregon, prior to 1961. This handbuilt bowl is signed with earlier and rarer mark of Handmade in Idaho with Snake River mark. This is another listing for the masses by .........
