Inside rear cover & upside down (because it is bound upside down & I presume like I did someone opened it the wrong way first) is written "Leidy's Reformed Church 1889" and a pencilled name. A small book. Please see pictures.At rear, in English: "The above reference was made to the different classes, all of which acquiesced in receiving as the regularly authorized German Hymn-Book of this Synod. I do hereby certify that the above is a correct copy of the action of the Synod of Ohio and adjacent States. Geo. W. Williard, Stated Clerk of Synod." Referring to the Deutsch Reformirten Kirche (German Reformed Church) in den Bereinigten Staaten .... also mentions Harrisburg, PA.Please ask all questions before bidding.
