Detective Comics #27- 1st Batman - May,1939This is a hard to find reprint of Detective Comics issue #27, the first Batman comic book that came out in May of 1939. The comic measures 6 1/2 X 10 1/4 inches and contains 31 pages of storyline. This comic reprint was a promotional give-away by NABISCO Oreo Cookies in the early 1980's. The original 1939 comic is worth many thousands of dollars(an original copy just recently sold at auction for $1.075 Million Dollars!!! ) NO RESERVE!
