Re-listed due to incorrect spelling of name. This is a large gilt framed original oil painting of Desert Orchid (Dessie), by an unknown artist, signed J P and dated 1989. Dessie is being ridden by Steve Sherwood. The text in the bottom middle of the painting says "Desert Orchid, S. Sherwood". The photo does not do this lovely oil painting justice, due to the light reflection from the paint surface. The painting is 45cm x 60cm high. The frame is 54cm x 70cm high. (All dimensions are approximate) It weighs almost 3kg in its frame. All proceeds go to animal rescue. Please contact me for postage costs outside the UK.
