Dan Crowley is a Chicago artist who is famous for his amazing caricatures as well as his award winning window displays for Tiffany's and Stuart Weitzman Shoes. Dan is a close personal friend and I have been lucky enough to own a number of his pieces over the years. I'm currently doing a significant downsizing to my own lifestyle and find I must part with some of my favorite pieces. This purple/lavender faced Genie is ready to make your wishes his command. He's wearing a red fez and his body/necj is a light brocade fabric. He stands on a simple wooden base that's approximately 1.75" x 1.75" x 1.75" and altogether when he's on his base the height is about 6". He really is meant to be used as a finger puppet from time to time, so you could bring him out and make empty promises to everyone you meet as your personal Genie grants their wishes. You'll never have to buy your own cup of coffee again if you play it right! This guys was made in the early 2000's. As with ALL of Dan's originals, his eyes glow in the dark! His expression is all-knowing! He will ship carefully packed as he is fragile. I will be posting more of Mr. Crowley's work over the next few days. This piece is strong enough to stand on its own or become the cornerstone for your own collection. !
