I can't stop looking at this ring, and I wish I could keep it, but it doesn't fit. Huge flower ring that looks like a dahlia. Stones are untested, but look like the color of spessartite garnets, except that they have a little softening pink in them that makes them not looks so ORANGE. Front of the ring is slightly on the diagonal when on the finger, as shown in first photo. More than an inch long at its longest points, but it would be 1" from knuckle to knuckle as it sits on the finger. Stones in four shallow tiers. Highest is 1/4" from finger when on, and about half of that is accounted for by the undercarriage, seen in photo 2.Marked 925, CI, and Thai, which means that it was probably made in the '80s, when jewelry was made there instead of China. No wear to goldtone and nice three-part band, seen in last photo.Size 8.Lush summer ring!Other sterling rings now listed, most with stones. Some sterling lots currently up, too.
