CORNING WARE Well and Tree Meat Tray with Serving Cradle Blue Cornflower This beautiful Corning Ware well and tree meat platter in the classic and very popular Blue Cornflower pattern is in excellent, like-new condition. Measurements: Overall length including serving cradle -- 19-1/2 in. long x 10-1/4 in. wide x 2-1/2 in. high. The platter measures 16-1/2 in long and will accommodate a 12-1/2 in. long x 8-1/2 in. wide steak, roast, chicken or turkey. This quality, made-in-the-USA, platter can be used under the broiler for steaks or chops or in the oven for a whole fish or simply as a serving platter on which to carve your roast. The grooves in the middle of the platter channel meat juices into the wells at either end which can then be spooned over the sliced meat. Yummmm. The stainless steal cradle is in excellent condition. The handles are wooden and will stay comfortable for carrying. The feet are also woden to protect your finest table top from scratches. Also, the cradle holds the platter nearly 2 in. above the table to keep the hot platter from transmitting heat to your table top.
