Important highlighted articles of Revolutionary War(American Revolution) contained within as follows....announces resolutions by Williamsburg Virginia Convention headed by Edmund Pendleton that are the prelude to the Declaration of Independence. One column in length. Another article with similar resolutions by the Maryland Convention. Column+ in length. Much pre-Declaration rhetoric in both. Two articles one by Capt. Smith & Lts. Simon and Crafts, intelligence from Canada. Part of article refers to Col Bedel and Battle of Cedars. Also mentions Col. Arnold coming in to help. Second article from Hartford which references Battle of Cedars, etc. Many more very interesting articles in newspaper, many by town and incidents occurring within, nautical activities, crime, advertisements, and much more. Timothy Bedel (1737 - February 24 , 1787 ) was a soldier and local leader prominent in the early history of New Hampshire . Bedel was born in Salem, New Hampshire .
