Please have a look at my other items from the great 1893 Chicago World's Fair .On my hunts for vintage watches I sometimes come across other cool stuff and I recently purchased a few items from the 1893 World's Fair that I found intriguing because I had just finished reading The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. But I would rather a real collector of this cool Americana have these things, as mine was only a passing interest. So keep your eyes peeled in the next few days and I'll have a few more World's Columbian Exposition-related collectibles up for auction. Now, let's kick off another one! Up for auction with NO RESERVE is this rare and genuine 1893 Chicago World's Fair Columbian Exposition 6-Month Ticket Book in wonderful vintage condition. These 6-month booklets for the complete run of the Chicago World Fair are scarce and I believe they were reserved for vendors and other professionals working the Fair, as they simply do not turn up that often. When they do, most if not all of the tickets have been torn out. But here we have a completely full book of tickets for the entire run of the Fair , absolutely every day from May 1st to October 30th of 1893. This particular example is Number 37893 and made out on the front cover for a Chas. Dunn, Observer from the Works Department. But the absence of a photo indicates the book was read more
