The second had a Doublet f/12.5 lens with metal folding frame finder that was discontinued in July 1938. The Bantam cameras in this listing start with the Feb.1938 to January 1947 model featuring a Kodak Anastigmat f/6.3 53mm lens and folding optical frame finder. This plastic body/lens panel folding camera is in very good condition with some minor oxidation to the sliding metal aluminum lock. The black leather bellows, red exposure number window folding optical finder are intact. The working shutter is marked I and T. Aperture settings range from 6.3 to 11. Included is the original box with the 21 page Picture taking with the Kodak Bantam Kodak Anastigmat Lens f.6.3 dated 8-37. There is an Important notice dated 5-38 regarding the metal lock and a 8-37 dated Hold The Camera Steady sheet. Even included in the box is the lens protector sheet. Included with this camera is the correct Kodak Bantam marked brown leather carry case with shoulder strap. The second camera is the solid body eyelevel Kodak Bantam f/8 introduced in July 1938. It had a moulded Bakelite plastic body; Kodalinear f/8 lens and Built-in shutter on a square section telescoping tube and folding frame finder. This model was discontinued in October 1942. The camera is in very good condition as pictured. The lens is clean and clear and the I shutter works. The third camera is the metal die cast body/lens panel Kodak Bantam with focusing Kodak Anastigmat Special f.4.5 47mm ER 5698 lens with folding optical frame finder and body with angled ends. This model was introduced in July 1938 and discontinued in June 1948. The working Kodak Bantam shutter has T, B and I speeds settings from 1/25 to 1/200 seconds. Aperture settings range from 4.5 to 16. The focusing lens has settings from 2.5 feet to INF. The black bellows, frame finder and green exposure number window are intact. The fourth camera is a metal die cast body Kodak Flash Bantam model made from July 1947 to 1948. This camera features a Kodak Flash Bantam Shutter with T, B and 1/25 to 1/200 second settings. Shutter works properly in all I positions except 1/25 and opens in the B and T but doesn’t release automatically due to lack of use. Shutter releases in these positions manually. Aperture settings range from 4.5 to 16. Note the Kodak Flash Bantam markings are in black. The focusing Kodak Anastigmat Special f.4.548mm ES 9171 lens is clean and clear. Focus distance settings range from 2.5 feet to INF. The black bellows, frame finder and green exposure number window are intact. The metal slide lock on this camera is marked Kodak Bantam. The fifth camera is also a metal die cast Kodak Flash Bantam model like the previous one but with a high quality Kodak Anastar f:4.5 48mm lumenized RA850 lens. This model was made from 1948 to 1953. The Kodak Flash Bantam marking on the shutter is in red, not black like the previous camera. The other features are the same. The shutter works in the T, B and 1/25 to 1/200 seconds but not timed. The black bellows, frame finder and green exposure number are intact. The metal slide lock on this camera is marked Kodak Flash Bantam. Included are a brown leather marked Kodak Flash Bantam Field Case with leather strap, the original camera box and a 12-51 dated 32 page Kodak Flash Bantam Camera f/4.5 Kodak Anastar Lens manual.
