A collection of British and foreign circulated coins and bank notes. The coins include nearly3 kg of pre-decimal pennies and a smaller amount of brass threepences and post-1946 cupronickel coinage, a British proof set 1950 in its original card case, a British silver proof crown 1980 cased with certificate, a British 1937 silver crown, three florins dated and 1890, two Philippine coin type sets dating 1937 to 1945 (5 coins each), a boxed Ireland uncirculated set dating 1949-1952 (8 coins), a cased Japanese coin type group of 22 coins with descriptions including Yosida Komahiki, Tempo Tsuho 8 mon, Akita 24 mon, Shinagawa Odaiba 50 mon, Kanei Tsuho coins and twelve cash-type coins originally minted in China but imported for use (note that all the coins appear to be glued into their display case), several hundred Austria 2, 5 and 10 groschen coins mostly aluminium, an Ireland half crown 1933, two Spanish 100 peseta silver coins 1966, a US peace dollar 1925 weighing 26.85 g and a very worn half dollar 1920, a Mexico 8 reales 1889 Culiacan mint, eight (8) German silver 5 mark coins 1934-1937, over 200 g of mixed and often worn British and foreign silver coins, and other mixed foreign coinage of 20th C. The notes include a white £5 note Peppiatt 1947 folded with pinholes, another white £5note Beale 1951 folded, a Bank of Scotland Â
