ITEM: Coalport porcelain jug DESCRIPTION: the richly gilded ground is printed with bluebirds and bamboo designs.... the name of the pattern is officially Japanese Grove - although it is often referred to as the Bluebird and Bamboo pattern MARK: green printed crown with COALPORT AD1750 DATE: from around c1880 CONDITION: overall condition is good....there is a small chip to one of the lugs where the swing-lid would have fitted (the lid would have been made from tin but is now missing)....some light scratches in the gilt ground but nothing too serious (worst patch is just below the bluebird in photo with handle to the left) ....some light crazing to the white, undecorated glazed areas SIZE: the jug stands 170mm or around 6 3/4" tall ITEM WEIGHT: 0.59kg PACKAGE WEIGHT: 0.95kg COURIER SERVICE: /portal/rm Please check the P&P details in the listing to ensure you are happy with cover (sometimes packages get sent surface mail for cost saving)
