Here we have a pair of Civil War Federal officer's folding brass candlesticks that remain in excellent condition. The cupped brass bases unscrew to reveal to small candle holders that need to be screwed into the bases individually when in use. After use, the candle holders are unscrewed from the base, placed in the recesses and then the bases are screwed together for ease of carry. The bases measure 3½ inches in diameter. The brass is undamaged and with a very attractive age toned patina. 4941
