Up for auction is a beautiful shape and condition old antique 1920's - 1930's Minty condition LOWE & CAMPBELL SPORTING GOODS COMPANY finely etched and engraved Metal basketball referee whistle - in awesome shape and condition. The front engraving and L & C logo and Made in England stamping. - wow (must see all photos for better overall view and description- metal loop at the one end (for chain or canvas rope as seen and attached), would look amazing with the old leather helmets or shoulder pads I currently have available on Ebay).The very old antique 1920's/1930's super clean vintage steel whistle with silver metal Lowe & Campbell logo makes a great and very loud whistling sound as you might imagine, (engraved into the old circa football whistle and basketball umpire and or referee sports whistle is the great L & C logo and sporting goods emblem).The vintage circa old antique early referee whistle was used by old officials/refs to announce fouls and halftime and game ending announcement. A great piece of sports memorabilia used many many years ago during sporting events to announce fouls, half time and certainly the game end time, in OUTSTANDING good shape (must see photos, stamped Metal logo). This baby makes an extremely loud sound and is in great working condition - would look really cool displayed with an old vintage soccer ball
