The Chronicles of Aunt Minervy Ann written by Joel Chandler Harris was published in 1899 by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York.This copy was circulated by the War Service Library which was established by the American Library Association in 1917 to provide library services to American soldiers training in camp and serving overseas in World War I. You will see the WWI bookplate in the photos.The book is in good shape for its age and the fact that it was circulated. It is unevenly trimmed. The lower right corner of the hardcover has a bend in it. It has faint words penciled on the first cover page. The title page is coming loose at the bottom (shown in the photos); as well as, some of the other pages . The discoloration on the inside of the back cover is where the WWI library card was placed. I tried to show the flaws in the photos. Please read the description and look at the photos carefully. Message me with any questions before bidding because there are no returns.
