This auction is for a blue transferware plate that once belonged to a children's dinner service. It was made in the Staffordshire region of England by the potter, Thomas Dimmock ( produced pottery from 1828-1859). The pattern name is "Dimity".The central transfer is of dots and stars while the border around the pieces has elaborate designs. The color is a lovely blue.The plate is approximately 3 3/4" in diameter and 10 sided. This plate is in excellent condition in my opinion. There are no cracks, chips, hairlines, flakes, repairs, etc.. Please review all the photographs to make your determination of condition. Great display piece for many types of collections, child's tea and dinner sets, doll collections, doll houses, Staffordshire, miniature pieces, etc.Please email me with any questions or comments.
