Childhood of Famous Americans Lot Set 38 Books WOW!!!

Lot of 38 paperback books in the “Childhood of Famous Americans” Series I love these books! In fact I read every title my school library had when I was in the fourth grade back in the seventies! I was so happy to see this series returned to print when my kids were little and I became an avid collector of these “Blue Biographies.” My kids are big now and reading Tom Clancy, Pearl S. Buck and Mathematical Theory books– and I can’t bear to see these sit around collecting dust when someone else might be able to enjoy.These books are outstanding read alouds for young kids ready to sit through chapter books. My oldest listened to these when he was three or four and I think the girls liked them being read aloud through age eight. These books are also great for new independent readers – they have easy print and sentence structure but are interesting to read. Also – these are big books – lots of them nearly 200 pages long which is such a huge accomplishment for a new reader.
