This auction is for a Champions Brand NFL Throwback jersey. The jersey is a replica of the one worn by Duane Thomas during the Cowboys 1971 season. As it is number 33, it is the same number later worn by Tony Dorsett. I used to live in Rochester and would go to the Champions outlet center every week to try to find these older special jerseys. I have many for sale, including jerseys from the Miami Dolphins (Greise #12 and Czonka #39), The Dallas Cowboys (Staubach #12 and Dorsett/Thomas #33), Greenbay Packers (Starr #15, Nitschke #66) New York Giants (#16 Gifford) and the Colts (#19 Johnny U.) This might have been a second, although it looks perfect to me. This jersey features the NFL Shield name on the back. and a Championship patch (SUPERBOWL VI) on the front. All numbers and name are cloth and embroidered. It also has cool elbow pads sewn in as the actual jerseys of the Cowboys did during the 71 season. It is a super nice jersey. Its just time to clean out some closet space!
