Here is a ceramic ( porcelain) figurine of Homepride Fred .First I thought it was a salt pot but was corrected by a more knowledgeable person. It is a Pie Funnel! It make pies the old fashioned way by supporting the middle of the pastry with a pie funnel. This allows the steam to escape and should avoid a soggy pastry top..Please see inserts on the photo.This pie funnel is 92mm/ 3 ¾” tall ( all sizes are approximate).
