the ogee-molded square dish with gilt band to rim, transfer-printed in underglaze blue with a border of typical Chinese-style motifs, another gold band atop the printed edge, a large central Chinoiserie scene of figures within an elaborate townscape surrounded by pavilions near huge trees, enclosed by a cell-and-diaper band, the underside marked with an underglaze blue x.Circa: Circa 1780-1790. Condition: Excellent overall condition: minor gilding wear to rim, the outside with some traces of blue. Size: 7 5/8" W.
