2 Coupe Plates in Ma Lin Pattern by Castleton China This dinnerware came from a local estate. This listing is for two coupe shape plates in the Ma Lin pattern by Castleton China of New Castle, Pennsylvania. This pattern was produced between 1958 and 1972. The ivory-white, translucent fine china plates are decorated with rust-red, yellow and blue flowers and green foliage. The smooth rim is accented with gold. This very attractive design was created by Chin-Chi Yee. The coupe shape plates are 7 inches in diameter. These could be used as accent or salad/dessert plates. These two pieces have no chips, cracks or crazing. T are some utensil marks seen with reflected light and very slight loss of gold. The colors are bright. The black back stamp has a lyre logo and reads, "Made in U.S.A. Castleton China, Ma Lin by Ching-Chih Yee, U.S. Patent applied for."
