Cast Iron Squirrel Nutcracker in Tree Bark Bowl. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.A great look for your rustic lodge or cabin decor, this vintage tree bark nut bowl has a saucy cast iron squirrel nutcracker in the center. The squirrel is black with detailed fur and features. To crack the nuts, push the tail up, which lowers the squirrel's front paws; then lower the tail, which brings the paws up to crack the nut under his mouth.This is an unusual piece--He's securely anchored to the bowl.The set is in pretty good condition, with a little rust on the squirrel and some yellowing and wear on the varnish that's been put on the bowl.Size: The bowl is not quite round, at about 10 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches x 2 1/2 inches tall (26.7 x 24.1 x 6.3 cm).
