Up for bid is one used cast iron lever type nutcracker made by SARGENT & CO, size 10. This is in good original condition and in working order. It measures about 10 inches long, 4-1/2 inches wide, and 6 inches high including the base in the measurements. From the pivot point to the end of the handle measures 9 inches. This appears to have been made to the Blake Patent of 1853 but is not referenced, so it may date after the patent ran out. Probably the early to mid 1900s would be a fair guess. It weighs 1 pound 10.3 ounces, with packaging it will ship below 3 pounds. I combine shipping and pass the savings on, so please view my other items. Thank you for looking.
