This piece is so large and ornate that at first I thought it might be costume jewelry! But the more I held it and looked at it I realize that is actually a gorgeous piece of fine 14 karat gold. I brought it to the jeweler for confirmation as it is unmarked. There is a large piece of carved jade in the center, Colorful cloisonné style enameling around it, and intricate 14 karat gold work. The ring is a size 7 1/2 and weighs a hefty12.6 DTW's. The only condition issue is a small piece of missing enamel (which I have photographed for you )on one of the green leaves. Because of the age of the woman that this ring belongs to it could either be from the 1930s or a revival piece done in the 50s or 60s. I have seen rings like these in the past but always in silver . This is the only one I've ever seen done in 14 karat gold. It does not disappoint! It measures 4.5 cm tall!This would be choir both signature confirmation and insurance. I have split that cost with the buyer
