Carousel Menagerie Replica Giraffe c1998 by Dentzel Original 1910 6 Foot GiraffeThe six carousel animals that I am selling, were created in 1998 and were all hand-crafted and hand painted. The animals were on a carousel, so they have the two holes needed to be used with a carousel pole. Each hole is on the back and front ends of their saddle. T hey all have Swarovski Crystals as part of their trappings.Each animal is an authentic replica of the turn of the century steeds and menagerie animals created and carved by the finest carvers in the United States. These animals were often 6 1/2 ' long by 6' tall or larger. The photo at the bottom of each listing is the original full-size animal of their era.You will receive the ANIMAL, and I will include the 24K gold-plated brass twisted pole, and a screw, O-ring, and finial which is attached to the pole. HOWEVER , for you to be able to use the design, you would need to buy a base, you would need to find a carpenter, etc. that has the special tools to cut the rods and screws to size, and placing the pole into a base.
