This listing is for 3 items: two Lesley Burgess (English Kitchen) cakes and a Janice Crawley tea pot.English Kitchen Chocolate Cake : an amazing chocolate cake by Lesley Burgess (English Kitchen). (This is not an edible cake, though it sure looks good enough to eat!) The cake comes on a footed glass cake stand on a white paper doily. The cake is a three layer cake that shows a thin layer of the "frosting" between each layer and a glossy chocolate glaze on top. The top of the cake is decorated with an incredible chocolate grand piano (with the white keys and the sheet music appearing to be white chocolate)! There are also a couple of tiny raspberries adorning the cake and the piano. Lesley Burgess is based in North Carolina, and makes some of the most beautiful miniature food I have ever seen! This would be a perfect addition to a kitchen, luncheon, dinner, restaurant, or bakery scene. Approximate Dimensions: 1Â¼" H x Â¾" W x Â¾" DEnglish Kitchen White Fondant Cake : This is a dramatic white chocolate fondant cake by Lesley Burgess (English Kitchen). (This is not an edible cake, though it sure looks good enough to eat!) The cake comes on a footed glass cake stand on a white paper doily. The cake itself is covered in what I assume is meant to replicate white chocolate fondant and the top is decorated with amazingly beautiful thin. The top of the cake is decorated with an incredible bouquet of white chocolate ruffles, all beautifully arranged and as large as the cake itself. Tremendously eye-catching! There is also a tiny little chocolate floral detail nestled in one of the ruffles. Lesley Burgess is based in North Carolina, and makes some of the most beautiful miniature food I have ever seen! This would be a perfect addition to a kitchen, luncheon, dinner, restaurant, or bakery scene. Approximate Dimensions: 1 3/16 " H x Â¾" W x Â¾" DJanice Crawley Ceramic Puppet Tea Pot : This marvelous porcelain tea pot was made by Janice Crawley. Similar to Valerie Casson, she enjoys making whimsical tableware. This tea pot has been painted and sculpted to look like a puppet or clown. The body of the tea pot is glazed in yellow and green stripes, to look like the full blouse-top of the clown, with buttons painted down the front. There is a white ruffled collar painted around the rim of the pot. The spout is crafted to look like one arm, and the handle like the other. The removable lid is the puppet clown's head (and neck which fits into the teapot opening), with his face wonderfully sculpted and painted and his yellow & green cap atop his head. The bottom is incised with Janice's mark: "J. Crawley" and is dated 1990. This is a wonderful and sweet work of art by a marvelous artisan. Janice is from Canada, and started working in miniature ceramics in 1980. She focuses mostly on 1:12 scale porcelain dishes and figures, but also enjoyed working in doll-making. This would be a wonderful addition to any tea shop, dining room, or kitchen.
