CARL PERKINS "LONELY HEART" - RARE 1964 BRUNSWICK 05909 PRESS RELEASE / PICTURE

This is an extremely rare, original (British) Decca Records two-page publicity sheet with photograph and biographical / personal information issued in June 1964 to promote the recent Decca signing, Carl Perkins, and his new single on Brunswick 05909 (recorded in England), "Lonely Heart". Old-fashioned foolscap size, 8 x 13 inches, two single-sided sheets stapled together in the top left-hand corner. In good condition but note it is hole-punched on the left-hand side for insertion in a ring-binder and it has a date stamp on it (maybe visible in the picture). A very rare opportunity to acquire this publicity sheet about one of the Rock 'N' Roll greats, who began his career alongside Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash at the world-famous Sun studios in Memphis.
