Wouldn’t this be a lovely addition to your holiday table? Offered for your consideration, is a beautiful glass compote with Sterling Silver overlay. Compote is eight-sided, 8 3/4” across, and 3” tall. Base is four arched glass feet. We have confirmed that the compote is a Cambridge Glass blank, but we have not been able to identify the rose pattern . The decorative overlay reminds us of an old fashioned and delicate tree rose or standard rose. The designation, “Sterling” appears under one of the four boughs. There are no chips, nicks, or cracks. There are some areas missing silver, on the line running around the rim; and possibly on some of the leaves ~ but, due to the pattern, this is difficult to tell. There are two very light scratches at the bottom of the bowl. The bowl shows only minimal evidence of prior use, but this needs to be mentioned, nevertheless. Check out my other items !
