For your consideration I have a CALRAD FM-510 TUBE RADIO COLORED PLASTIC CASE TUBE RADIO that was made in Japan. From what research I was able to do on this I came up with the date of 1955 however I think it was later than that perhaps from the late 1950's. The teal or aqua green plastic cabinet is very nice and with a polish would look like new. After testing the tubes, the filter capacitor, and replacing the wax capacitors, the radio works well and should for years to come. It picks up many stations from up to 50+ miles away from the short wire antenna. It has no back cover. Check out the pictures to see the exact condition of this radio. I did'nt want to junk it for parts because it is still a useful item and good enough to be collectible. My radios are a great piece of history that come to you ready to proudly display, as well as listen to in any room of the house or office and will make a nice addition to your collection.
