You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL, AND BELIEVE A TOUGH LARGE (ALMOST 8" TALL) VARIETY Antique pharmacy PALE PURPLE COLOR / drug store bottle once used at A DRUG STORE, PHARMACY called " PACIFIC PHARMACY " in 1880s-1900 era, in old downtown EUREKA, CALIFORNIA It is tougher than you think to find these old PHARMACY BOTTLES THAT ARE THIS NICE...often they are stained and ugly....this one is terrific. THIS ONE HAS BEAUTIFUL PALE PURPLE GLASS, I CAN FIND NO DEFECTS ...has strong features….JUST NEEDS A LITTLE CLEANING…THIS IS A BEAUTY (note: you might see a little bubble line in the lip…it is "as made" not a crack) THIS IS A TALL BOTTLE The town of Eureka is located in Humboldt County…this is a tougher town to find pharmacy bottles from…town history goes way back into 1800s bottle has 1894 patent date on base I BELIEVE THIS IS A TOUGHER TO FIND BIG VARIETY BOTTLE, ONCE USED IN EUREKA CALIFORNIA…..on the Pacific Ocean. I have inspected this bottle, seems really nice..glass is very nice, embossing is crisp, (see gallery)...Can find no cracks, chips, or damage ...THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE...I just got this one, and it is a real beauty....if you hold to light you will see beautiful color (look at pictures held to sunlight).. could use a gentle cleaning.
